This Privacy Policy governs the SmokeXit mobile application (the “App”) for iOS, which is owned and operated by STYLE WONDER WORLD PTE. LTD. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This document explains how data is processed within the SmokeXit application.
Overview
SmokeXit is designed to help users track their quit journey, including cigarette logs, cravings, mood check-ins, goals, reminders, progress, savings estimates, and premium subscription status.
Information Stored in the App
SmokeXit may store the following information locally on your device:
- Your name or profile display name
- Your quit date and target quit date
- Your smoking baseline and daily goal
- Your cigarette cost and currency preference
- Your cigarette, craving, and mood logs
- Craving triggers, smoking context, notes, and intensity ratings
- Reminder preferences
- App settings and premium subscription display status
This information is used to provide app features such as tracking, progress charts, insights, reminders, and CSV export.
Some information you choose to enter, such as smoking logs, craving triggers, mood check-ins, and notes, may be personal or sensitive. This information is stored locally on your device and is used only to provide App features.
Device Backups
Depending on your iPhone settings, local App data may be included in Apple device backups or iCloud backups. We do not control Apple’s backup services.
If your iPhone is configured to back up app data to iCloud or another Apple backup service, information stored locally by SmokeXit may be included in those backups. This may include your profile settings, quit dates, cigarette logs, craving logs, mood check-ins, notes, reminders, and app preferences.
If you enable iCloud sync, SmokeXit may store and sync your app data in your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit services. This is used only to sync your progress across devices and is not used for advertising or third-party tracking.
You can manage iCloud and device backup settings through your iPhone settings. Apple’s handling of backup data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy and terms.
CSV Export
SmokeXit allows you to export your profile and log history as a CSV file.
CSV exports are generated locally on your device only when you choose to create them. Once you share or save an exported file outside the App, that file is controlled by the destination app, service, or person you share it with.
Premium Subscriptions and Purchases
SmokeXit Premium subscriptions are handled through Apple’s StoreKit and the App Store.
The App checks your App Store entitlement status to determine whether Premium features are active. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payment, billing, cancellation, and refund handling are managed by Apple.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, SmokeXit may schedule local notifications on your device.
These reminders are generated by the App and are not sent through our own servers. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.
Analytics and Advertising
SmokeXit does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies inside the App.
If we add analytics, advertising measurement, or similar tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and our App Store privacy information as required.
Health and Medical Disclaimer
SmokeXit is for informational and self-tracking purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you need medical guidance about smoking cessation, cravings, nicotine use, withdrawal symptoms, or your health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Information We Do Not Collect
SmokeXit does not currently collect:
- Account login details
- Payment card information
- Precise location data
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics events sent to our own servers
- Personal data for sale or advertising
Third-Party Services
SmokeXit uses Apple services for app distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions, and device-level features such as notifications. We may receive aggregated app performance, download, sales, and subscription information from Apple through App Store Connect. This information is provided by Apple and is not based on tracking technologies that we add inside the App.
Your use of Apple services is subject to Apple’s own privacy policy and terms.
Children’s Privacy
SmokeXit is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
